With the Enjoy tour project, which takes place on the cross- border area of Slovenia and Italy (see involved areas), we encourage the development of rural tourism (not fully exploited in it's potentials) and link it with a range of tipical quality products.
Tipical products, related to natural resources are the opportunity to build on and upgrade the current gastronomic and touristic offer in general. We want to connect all the existing players (Wine Roads, other theme routes, many other providers) and present the area as a whole to the visitors, who can than choose things of their interest.
planned activities:
WP1 -coordination, financial and administrative management of the project, partners meetings;
WP2 - raising the quality of wines in the wine roads and routes of flavors (exchange of experiences, examples of good practice, assessments of meats and wine, workshops, exhibitions, promotional events), the arrangement of an exhibition space;
WP3 - creating the brochure Fishermen recommend, presentation of the brochure and recipes, preparation of bilingual studies on sea fishing tourism (current status and options);
WP4 - restoration of ancient bourgeois apiary in Idrija, cross-border integration of beekeeping photo workshop as a base to a common photo library, an apiary and its surroundings in Kobarid);
WP5 - preparation of the communication plan and the graphic design of the project, an art contest on the theme of typical products in schools, the organization of events for the promotion of tipical products (participation in fairs, an educational tour for journalists, open cellars (wineries), the layout of the website).
planned results:
Qualified, educated and conscious target groups, that will take part of educational, promotional and information events as part of the project.
The project will establish contacts in the chain from producer to providers and consumers of typical products of the cross-border area and increase the visibility of the area.
The results will be used by representatives of all target groups.
