Project Agri-Knows implements knowledge of high level experts from different institutions working in the research and the agricultural sector (universities and research institutes) in order to implement their specific knowledge on the problem of environmental pollution caused by excessive use of nutrients, pesticides and other substances by professional and research entities in the future technical sector.
Planned activities:
Knowledge transfer will be implemented through additional training and education for secondary school teachers as well as students in primary and secondary schools. The ultimate goal is to raise awareness and concern for the environment and human health.
The project envisages installation of microcosm experiments in schools, the organization of workshops for students, training for teachers and open days at primary schools. Joint initiatives to promote business activities, research and development, new jobs, even in outlying and rural areas, with special emphasis on jobs with higher value added), we wish to establish links between different institutions of research, knowledge and education in the field of environment and agriculture.
Planned results:
The result of the project will be trained, educated and informed students, will be established contacts in the scientific-professional chain and cross-border cooperation, as provided for joint workshops in the organization of secondary schools, but with the support of universities and professional institutions.
Cross-border impact is reflected in the broad participation of secondary schools, which is expected to continue in the future with other common activities, current development of agriculture in the common area (real experiments in agricultural crops, determining the quality of the crop, etc..).
The project will be collaboration between university staff and students of professional schools, there will be a research support for training, while the rich cross-border cooperation between institutions in the region. Cross-border effect of the project a long-term joint training of young people (students) by the project partners, which may in the future lead to joint ventures in the territories (experiments in agriculture, quality of products, etc.).
