The T-Lab project aims to transfer and upgrade the good practice of the “Bank of Tourism Potentials in Slovenia” (BTPS) project to the cross border region and to widen access to the available technologies. BTPS's good potential represents an outstanding choice for the World Tourism Organization award for specific and innovative achievements in tourism as well as the selection of a Bank as a demonstration of good practice in the year 2009 – the European year of innovation, by the EU Commission.
The main project outcome will be: an established and upgraded cross-border portal used for networking the initiators of new tourism projects with potential investors and accompanying activities of the portal (education, counselling, experimentation), which will promote the use of the portal and allow faster integration and implementation of the proposed projects. The T-Lab project will encourage networking of companies in the region and stimulate joint marketing of tourism products in the cross border area.
