Project MOTOR will contribute to the improvement of existing tourist offer on three specific areas: developed tourist destination in the natural protected area, less developed area on the countryside and old town centres with culture heritage. Quality, atraction and inovation are insufficient and that is a reason to enhance knowledge nad show best practices of investments in tourist offer that includes nature and culture heritage.
Activities and results of the project:
PROJECT COORDINATION AND MANAGEMENT: effective and proper implementation of all project activities, 3 project steering committee meetings
CENTER OF EXCELLENCE IN TOURISM: study of tourist potencial and operative development plan of the involved areas, establishing of 3 info points - with experts who support tourist actors with counselling, 2 open space conferences, 4 meetings of the experts to find a solution of the issues stressed out on the open space conference.
EDUCATION, TRAINNING AND COACHING: trainning programme, 12 trainings; 40 individual coaching
COMMON INITIATIVES FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT: 8 local incubators, 6 study tours for exchange of knowledge and experience, 3 excursions to best practices
6 PILOT PROJECTS: enriched tourist offer, better competitiveness of the tourist area
JOINT MARKETING: NETWORKING: website, 5 tourist packages, 1 common folder with local leaflets, promotion in the commercial fair in Province of Ferrara
PREPARATION ACITIVITIES: aproved application form and budget
COMMUNICATION PLAN: launch and final conference, announcements in media, center of excellence campaign
