The E-health project aims to increase the quality of life through the development of coordinated health and social systems, and specifically the Italian and Slovenian patients' quality of life through ICT (Information and Communication Technology) tools and new technologies.
It will create a common superordinate system of computer networks connected in the Programme area to provide health workers with more effective operational tools. This will result in developing synergies between health systems and interoperability of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto, Emilia Romagna and Slovenia and setting a network of health facilities for the entire program area with ICT tools.
A technical analysis will define the needs and the equipment to be purchased to make the network with a database containing the private medical electronic dossier with the clinical history of patients available to both Slovene and Italian health professionals. It will also provide for the introduction of digital cross-border and bilingual case file. The computerization of health care facilities will ensure the mobility and traceability of patients. It will also realize telemedicine activities, tele consulting, professional training and language courses, as well as information and communication activities.
Planned activities: planning and management, technical and organizational activities, training, analytical and administrative law, information and communication activities.
Expected results: creation of a activities coordination between the cross-border health facilities in the e-health sphere, computerization of patient health data, digital control of the patient in hospital and outpatient's departments reaching increased safety (prevention of human errors), correct analysis of patient flow and demand analysis, computerization uniformity of health facilities in the cross-border context, accessibility to health services even in areas poorly served (teleconsultation, bilingual health workers up-to-date with additional information), increase the quality of patients' lives.
