  • Project code: CBVEN222452
  • Users: Spinea Municipality

  • Description: The project aims at enhancing a route between wet and transitional environments, to join some interesting naturalistic-environmental areas: the Laghetti di Martellago park, the Nuove Gemme di Spinea park, the former Salzano quarries, the former Luneo quarries (WWF oasis) and a new area included in the urban territory in the municipality of Spinea. Research and studies will be carried out to foster the environmental restoration of the Cimetto drain and to create a river route, educational areas for initiatives concerning water and the enhancement of local resources. The route measures about twenty-five km, for an overall are of interest of fourteen square km. The project aims at enhancing local resources and enriching the tourist offer through the creation of an integrated itinerary on the environment and culture connected to the territory. Specific areas will be set up to be used as training centres, accommodation facilities and specific connections. Also important is the promotion of the resulting synergies: in this sense the project will set up a website where to make available all project material, didactic files, planned environmental regeneration actions, and the resulting itineraries, where the points of cultural and naturalistic interest will be highlighted in the project area.
