The project aims at creating a network of excellence in the Surgery field, at a cross border level. The network created will allow to enforce clinical as well as management models.
The project foresees virtuous actions between partners, with the main objective of "Increasing the quality of life through the coordinated development of the health and the social systems", within the program (OP-4-3.3).
The collaboration in the macro area will permit to share new techniques of surgical and anesthetics, which will promote the diffusion of standard protocols.
A common technology platform will be implemented. The platform will allow professional consults, through live and on-demand sessions, the creation and access to a surgical video-library, an area of e-learning for professional training.
The creation of a joint network between Hospitals will promote the harmonization of social and health services in the Program area and will: optimize the use of existing resources; qualify the professionists; activate actions between public and private Institutions in applied research; facilitate citizens' access to assistance, with measures that improve the overall quality of life.
