04.05.2017 ITI PROJECTS: FINANCING CONTRACTS SIGNED
Yesterday were signed the financing contracts for the two ITI projects approved by the Monitoring Committee on 22nd- 23rd February 2017. The two projects will be implemented in the framework of the Integrated Territorial Investment of the cross-border area of EGTC GO, comprised within the Municipalities of Gorizia, Nova Gorica and Šempeter-Vrtojba. The first project involves the realization of the “Cross-border Nature Park of the Isonzo- Soča river” and includes both infrastructure investments (cycle paths and recreational areas) and territorial marketing activities. The cost of the project is EUR 5 million. The second project involves the development of a cross-border network of socio-health services for the community of the EGTC GO area. It will be implemented through the cooperation of bodies and institutions operating in the socio-health sector of the two States and three Municipalities. The cost of the project is EUR 5 million. The implementing body of both projects is the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation EGTC GO, established among the three Municipalities and based in Gorizia.
