01.07.2015 Trans2Care project invited by the European Commission to the Danube S3 Workshop: “Gathering opportunities around RIS3 priorities”

The Danube S3 Workshop will take place in Vienna, hosted by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Science, Research and Economy on the 7th July 2015. Its goal is to identify common features of smart specialisation strategies of the Danube Region. The event is limited to a small number of qualified participants, selected by a public consultation. It is an important recognition for the work done by the Trans2Care network whose Lead Partner has been the Department of Life Sciences of the University of Trieste.

The event will be organised in two sessions. After the initial review of successful and sustainable transnational partnerships for Research & Innovation, the second session will run in 4 thematic tables (ICT, Health, Energy and Environment). Their task is to identify opportunities of collaboration to address common challenges and themes, which could evolve in project ideas for Interreg, Horizon 2020 and other European Programmes.
