22.02.2011 Strategic project KNOW US
On February 18, 2011 the "Kick off meeting" of the strategic project "KNOW US", co-financed by the Cross-border cooperation Programme Italy-Slovenia 2007-2013, was held at the University Ca' Foscari of Venice. Sixteen partners from the Republic of Slovenia, the Autonomous Region Friuli Venezia Giulia, the Veneto Region and the Emilia-Romagna Region cooperate in the project. The Lead Partner of the project is the Veneto Region - Unità di Progetto Ricerca e Innovazione.
After the welcome greetings of the present authorities, a detailed presentation of the strategic project’s administrative, accounting and scientific aspects has been given by several speakers.
During the event they highlighted the fact that the project aims to stimulate the generation of knowledge among universities and the small and medium enterprises system through out the design and testing of effective methods in order to support the development of strategic business plans and the start of a cross-border business innovation school.
