14.10.2010 RESUMPTION OF THE 9th MONITORING COMMITTEE MEETING OF THE CROSS-BORDER COOPERATION PROGRAMME ITALY-SLOVENIA 2007-2013
The 9th Monitoring Committee meeting of the Cross-border Cooperation Programme Italy-Slovenia 2007-2013 continued at Brdo pri Kranju, at the presence of Mr. José Palma Andrés, Director of DG Regio Directorate E - European Territorial Cooperation.
The Rapporteur of the European Commission, Mr. Antonio Castellacci, and the representatives of Autonomous Region Friuli Venezia Giulia and Republic of Slovenia attended this important meeting and discussed the agenda foreseen for the Monitoring Committee meeting suspended in June.
The meeting concluded successfully, with the approval of a "Position Paper", a document that in the common will of the participants, represents a concrete proposal to accelerate the implementation of the Programme and its decision process, on which most of the Programme’s implementation activities depend.
