16.09.2009 Held in Udine the thematic workshop on State aid and 1st level control procedures
On September 15, in Udine, at the Auditorium of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region Building, a thematic workshop devoted to Italian lead partners and project partners on State aid and 1st level audit procedures was held.
The meeting was moderated by Ms. Barbara Repetto, member of the Joint Technical Secretariat. Following an update on the state of the art of the Programme, she gave the floor to Mr. William Cisilino, who welcome all participants on behalf of the Managing Authority of the Programme.
The success of this initiative, which attracted a very large number of participants, confirms a pressing need for information and training on the subjects dealt with by the representatives from the autonomous Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, i.e. Ms. Olga Simeon, who talked about State aids and especially annex no. 12 to the application form on the second step of the public call for the submission of strategic projects no. 01/2009 (deadline 10/09/09) and the public call for the submission of standard projects no. 02/2009 (deadline 15/09/09), and Mr. Roberto Piccini, who provided an overview of 1st level control procedures together with valuable suggestions, legal references and case studies.
This insight day, organised by the Joint Technical Secretariat with the support of the Managing Authority, achieved the aim of actively involving potential project partners, who had the opportunity to put questions directly to the experts attending the workshop, as shown the documentation produced by the rapporteurs.
