09.07.2009 Record number of entries at the Udine Info Day devoted to the launch of public call for the submission of standard projects No. 2/2009. There were almost 400 participants in the Info Day held on 9 th July and devoted to public call for the submission of standard projects No. 2/2009. The success of the event was also confirmed by Deputy Director of the Central Directorate International and Community Relations of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region Presidency Mr. Giuseppe Napoli who gave President Renzo Tondo’s regards to the audience and illustrated the outcome of the Community planning period 2000-2006 through the INTERREG experience including the outlook for the enlarged Programme - area in the period from 2007 to 2013.

Chairwoman of the meeting was Ms. Comelli, Programme Managing Authority, who coordinated the speeches by the JTS members following the address by Ms. Tatjana Rener, representative of the Government Office of the Republic of Slovenia for Local Self-Government and Regional Policy – Regional Office Štanjel.
Ms. Repetto started her speech by illustrating the public call for the submission of standard projects No. 2 /2009, and emphasizing the innovations distinguishing this call from the previous, devoted to strategic projects, which is now in the second stage of selection.
Thereafter Eng. Becia explained both project form and financial plan..
Lastly, Ms. Abram described the application package.
Experts of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region such as Mr. Piccini (on First Level Controls) and Ms. Simeon (on State Aid) participated in the event.
Then the speakers answered a number of questions posed by the audience.
