18.05.2009 Information for applicantsAs already announced on this site in the “Project Implementation” section, the Expressions of Interest received under the Public Call for strategic projects no. 1/2008 and considered formaly eligible are now undergoing quality assessment. This assessment is carried out by the Joint Technical Secretariat in co-operation with the Cross-border Working Groups of Experts, in line with all that is established by the Operative Programme, by the concerned Public Call, and by the Assessment Manual for Strategic and Standard Projects, as recently approved by the Monitoring Committee of the Cross-border Programme Italy-Slovenia 2007-2013 in its final version and approved by the Programme Partners. The bottleneck which delayed the implementation of the Programme has been overcome and so the assessment procedure now in progress will be completed on time to submit to the Monitoring Committee the ranking list of the Expressions of Interest admitted to the second step, at the session to be held on 10 and 11 June 2009. Along with the invitation to submit the full Application Form (second step of the call for strategic projects), the Public Call for standard projects will also be discussed, the procedure of which should be completed by the end of this year.
